Hi all. First let me say that I'm not impress with what Autodesk has done with Viz or AutoCAD. It's like they're trying to find ways to F%$^ it up more.
I'm trying to apply a material to a box with the intention of scaling the material to fit. If I check the "Real-World Map Size" button it shows up in the rendering, but not to the proportions I need and I cannot modify it other than where it is placed by using the Gizmo. Uncheck it, then it doesn't show up at all.
Please help! Does anyone know how to modify the proportions of the maps?
Andy

Re: UVW maps for Viz 2007
Wed, May 24, 2006 - 8:54 AMRight after I posted this, I went back to try to figure out how to do it and found it.
In the Material Editor bitmap/ coordinates section, uncheck the "Use Real-World Scale". This allows the map to be modified through the UVW parameters on the Modify panel.
Now to find out how to change the default settings for this.
